Americas Official Car Donation Center has been in business since 1992. The center accepts cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, trailers and RVs that will help to support thousands of local and nationwide charities. This often allows for new research funding and outreach because of your donation.

Over 1 million donated vehicles have supported hundreds of non-profit charities through the work of Americas Official Car Donation Center. The center is also equipped to receive trailers, boats, trucks, RVs, and some other recreational vehicles like snowmobiles and jet skis. The donation process is pretty easy. There is an online form or you can call to request a form. Towing companies that are associated with Donation Charities Center are professionally licensed, bonded and insured. Americas Official Car Donation Center is able to pick up in every US state except for Alaska. Usually the towing company will be notified by the center and call you and come up with an agreed upon time to pick up the vehicle.

The title and keys will be picked up when the towing company comes to pick up the vehicle. Do not forget to sign over the title to the Center, cancel your registration and insurance. It is very important for you to sign the back of the title and then give it to the organization or charity that you are donating the car to. Also, don’t cancel your auto liability insurance until youve cancelled your car’s registration. You should cancel your car’s registration so you are not responsible for anything that happens with the car after you’ve donated it, like getting a speeding ticket.

Why Do We Care For Our Car More Than Our Health

In a perfect world, your weight and your body’s fat percentage could be controlled simply and easily by monitoring the calories you consume and the calories you burn. Consume more than you burn and you gain weight and increase your fat. Burn more than you consume, and the fat disappears and the weight comes off.

But your body is a machine, just like a car is a machine (well almost, there may be a couple of small differences). In a perfect world, you could put gas in your car and it would perform perfectly. Since most of us understand cars better than we do our own bodies, let’s consider the following parameters:

– would your car work the same whether you put 85 octane gas in or 95 octane gas? – what if your spark plugs were dirty and your fuel filter and carburetors clogged? – what if your car had super dirty oil, no oil, or a clogged oil filter?

Just imagine you inherited a half million dollar Rolls Royce. Would skimp on cheap gas an oil changes with this vehicle? Or would you baby it, take care of it, and do whatever you can to ensure it keeps its value and lasts for a very long time?

We can ask the same questions about your body:

– would your body work the same whether you ate low nutrition density calories or high nutrition density calories? – what if your body were lacking the necessary antioxidants, botanicals, vitamins, minerals and trace elements needed for efficient and maximal oxygen transport, nerve transmission, muscular contraction and metabolism? – what if your kidneys, liver and lymphatic system were clogged?

Now ask yourself this: What has more value to you, your body and your health or your car (even if it is a Rolls Royce)?

I think we all know that we can get a new car, put cheap gas in it and it’ll run fine-. for a while.

But what happens with that car if we never change the oil and filters or take it in for a tune up? I think we all know that sooner or later we’re in for trouble and a large bill from the mechanic!

We all know that we have to brush our teeth, wash our hair, and clean our skin, usually on at least a daily basis- But why do most of think we can eat poor quality food and ingest toxins day after day, month after month and year after year, and still have our bodies (our machine) function at maximum efficiency?

Just like a car, when our bodies are stressed and not working as well as they should, the solution isn’t just a matter of filling the tank with some high test gasoline or following a week long -secret diet- solution.

Every time we get in the car we should ensure we have enough gas, the fuel and oil filters are clear, the spark plugs are clean and producing a good spark, and the oil is circulating and keeping everything sufficiently lubed. Just to make this metaphor even clearer, how far are you going to get if you buy a brand new car, but when you try and drive it off the lot you learn that this new car doesn’t come with a battery! A car may be comprised of 1000 pieces. 999 of those pieces may be brand new, but how functional is that car if it is missing just that one piece?

This is the same with our diet. Certainly we need proper, high quality macronutrient nutrition (protein, carbohydrates, and fats). But we also need to ensure our systems of cleansed of toxins and we also have a sufficient level of vitamins, minerals and trace elements to ensure our bodies can make the best use of that nutrition. And just like we need every piece of that car if we expect it to work, we also need every building block of the human body to be in brand new condition if we want our bodies to perform at their maximum capacity.

The Keys to a Clean and Organized Car

When you look at your brand new car, you say to yourself, -I’m going to keep this one clean.- You mean it when you say it, but it hardly ever pans out that way. It doesn’t take long for a clean and organized car to go down the wrong road and end up a wreck.

Here are the keys to a clean and organized car:

– Vacuum the interior of your car regularly, at least once a month. Dirt and grit work the same way in your car’s carpet fibers as they do in your living room, they build up and breakdown the fibers. An extension cord and a shop vac will do the trick at home. Most gas stations and car washes have vacuums as well. A hand-held vacuum (or -dust buster-) works well on seats.

– Use a spray foam carpet cleaner and a rag on freshly vacuumed car floors to spot clean.

– Wash the exterior of your car once a month also. It’s easier to wash your car in the shade. Double check and make sure all windows are all the way up. Hose off the roof of your car first and then work your way down the sides. Be sure to get every inch nice and wet. Don’t forget the wheels and under the bumper and fender.

– Only use car wash to wash your car. I love my car too much to try any homemade solutions. Some car wash soaps are really pricey, but I always buy whatever’s cheapest. Apply soapy car wash with a sponge or rag, scrubbing as you go. Start at the top and work your way down. Stick to one area at a time. Rinse suds before they dry, then towel dry with a soft cloth or chamois to prevent spotting.

– After you’ve washed your car, polish the chrome. First, remove rust gently with a steel wool pad. Dab a wet sponge in baking soda and rub onto chrome. Let it stand 20 minutes, then rinse and buff dry with a rag. You’ll be amazed at how fabulous it looks!

– Baking soda also works wonders on removing splatters and grime from windshield, headlights, chrome and enamel using the same method as above.

– Keep plastic grocery bags in your car for trash, empty weekly or as needed.

– No car is complete without a container of baby wipes. Every Mom knows what miracle workers these things are. Great for quick and easy clean up of spills in the car and 1,000 other uses. Believe me; they’ll be put to good use in the car.

The real key and the most important factor in keeping a clean and organized car is to stay on top of it and not let it get out of control. Make an effort each day to remove anything from your car that does not belong in it. A car is a huge investment and should be treated with care. Don’t let your car become a wasteland. Hybrid cars possess two engines. One is the electric motor, and the other is the gasoline. When the car stops at the signals, the gasoline engine is automatically shut off and the electric motor is switched on. When more power is required, both engines work simultaneously.

Hybrid cars are based on power split technology. It is based on the gearbox. The electric motor along with the internal combustion engine provides additional power to assist the engine in accelerating, passing, or climbing. In some of the drives, where less power is required, the motor provides the only power source. Thus, the consumption of gasoline is reduced in such cases.

Hybrid cars possess an efficient regenerative braking system. When the brakes are applied, the energy is dissipated. This energy turns on the motor, which functions as the generator. Thus, the otherwise wasted energy is converted into electricity. This energy is stored in the battery, and is available for the electric motor.

Hybrid cars have firm and puffed up tires. They are filled at a higher pressure to smoothen the ride. So due to the texture, they offer a less bumpy, and comfortable ride. The texture of the tires reduce the friction, thus the life of the tire is increased. The other marvellous feature of the car is reduced air drag . For this purpose, these cars utilise the reduced frontal area, and sometimes a stream lined texture. Thus, all the above- mentioned features rank their invention a revolutionary step in the vehicle industry.
